Salmah Nashurdeen

Born and raised in New York, Salmah Nashurdeen has always felt a strong connection to the spaces and communities that shape the region. With over six years of experience, she’s worked on a wide variety of both architectural and interior projects—from corporate and medical offices to libraries, town halls, apartment buildings, warehouses, and single-family homes. All of them right here on Long Island or in the city.

Salmah graduated with her Bachelor of Architecture degree from the New York Institute of Technology in 2019 and joined the MDS team in April 2024. Her approach to design blends functionality, sustainability, and creativity, resulting in interiors that are as purposeful as they are visually compelling.

Outside of work, you’ll find her staying active at the gym, knitting, or painting - passions that fuel her eye for detail and love of craft.
