MDS is proud to have brought the vision of Nino’s Beach to life- an architectural statement on the shores of Manhasset Bay that blends coastal charm with contemporary sophistication. This premiere waterfront restaurant in Manorhaven, Long Island, was thoughtfully designed to create an immersive dining experience that reflects the beauty of its surroundings while delivering an upscale, welcoming atmosphere.

The architecture maximizes its waterfront location, with floor-to-ceiling glass, expansive glass foldable doors, and open-air connectivity that blurs the boundary between indoors and out. The building’s clean modern lines are warmed by a natural materials palette, including white oak finishes, weathered wood textures, and soft coastal hues– echoing the tranquil rhythm of the bay.

Inside, the interiors are designed for comfort and refinement. Custom millwork, hand-laid tile patterns, and brass accents contribute to a space that is both curated and relaxed. The bespoke bar and lounge area serve as central design elements, while varied seating zones- from intimate indoor corners to the pergola-shaded outdoor terrace– allow guests to engage with the space in different ways, all while maintaining a cohesive architectural language.

Every design decision- down to the textured ceilings, lighting details, and unobstructed sightlines to the marina– was made to elevate the guest experience and reinforce the identity of Nino’s Beach as a destination. The result is a hospitality space that feels timeless, contemporary, and deeply connected to its site.
