The Chaminade High School Activity & Athletic Center (AAC) is a state-of-the-art facility designed to support the school's commitment to holistic student development. Spanning 36,000 square feet, the AAC serves as a dynamic space for both academic and extracurricular activities, reflecting Chaminade's dedication to fostering excellence in education and athletics.
Key Features:
Main Arena: A versatile two-story gymnasium that accommodates 1,400 spectators, providing a venue for basketball and volleyball games, as well as school-wide events such as Masses and assemblies with enough capacity to house the entire student body.
Indoor Track: A tenth-of-a-mile track suspended above the main arena, offering students a dedicated space for physical fitness and training.
Wrestling Room: A specialized area designed to meet the needs of the school's wrestling program, featuring specialized flooring and spectator seating.
Hearst Auditorium: A 270-seat quarter-round lecture hall that serves as a venue for academic presentations, club meetings, and other educational and community events.
Exhibition Hall: A flexible space for alumni gatherings, dinners, and community events, fostering a sense of connection among the Chaminade family.
School Spirit Sales and Concessions: Retail areas offering Chaminade merchandise and refreshments, enhancing the overall experience for visitors and participants.
